Flexible iPEMS: Design The Best Solution For YOU
The 3DATX parSYNC® iPEMS (integrated Portable Emissions Measurement System) provides gaseous and particulate measurements with a proprietary cartridge system. The “hot-swap” capability delivers emissions acquisition of 4-gas measurement, NOx measurement and nanoparticle measurement.
The 3DATX patented multi-plex basic particle sensor system provides the ability to capture multiple, dissimilar “images” of particles using ionization, scattering, and opacity sensors in addition to outputs for particle number (PN) and particulate mass (PM).
FLEX Cartridge Configuration
The parSYNC® FLEX is designed with 3 sensor cartridge ports, allowing you to customize each unit for your specific testing needs:
- Particulates Cartridge: PN/PM
- C-GasMOD™ Cartridge: CO/CO2/HC/O2
- N-GasMOD™ Cartridge: NO/NO2
Further customize your parSYNC® FLEX to allow for real-time acquisition of:
- Wireless OBD Data Logger: User-defined ECU Data for LD and HD
- Real-time GPS and Ambient Meteorology Data (pressure, temperature, humidity)
- Ports for Additional Measurements (exhaust flow rate, aftertreatment temperature)

parSYNC® FLEX-PNC iPEMS
The 3DATX parSYNC® FLEX-PNC iPEMS provides gaseous AND particle number measurements. The gaseous side utilizes a “hot-swap” cartridge system for traditional 4-gas measurement (CO2, CO, HC, O2) plus NOx (NO, NO2). The particulate matter side utilizes NMi, METAS, and PTB certified particle number concentration (PNC) sensor based on the extended diffusion charging principle.
