Fuel Tech awarded $1.8 million contracts to supply NOx reduction installations

Fuel Tech, N.V. announced that Fuel Tech, Inc, its wholly owned subsidiary, has been awarded four contracts, with a total value in excess of $1.8 million, to install its nitrogen oxide reduction technologies at facilities in the US, Europe and Asia.
Two of the contracts are for installation of Fuel Tech's NOxOUT® NSCR process on municipal solid waste incinerators, the first on units in Belgium and the second on units in Taiwan through a German engineering company. The other two contracts are for the company's NOxOUT® SCR technology, which utilizes urea as a reducing agent. One of its systems will be installed on a new gas turbine in the Western US while the others will be integrated with diesel generating units in Taiwan.
Fuel Tech N.V. is engaged in the development and commercialization of proprietary air pollution control technologies. The company's technologies are currently installed at more than 200 combustion units worldwide.
