19 December 1998
DaimlerChrysler is including a diesel engine in one of four concept vehicles to be introduced at Detroit Auto Show in January.
The concept vehicle is Dodge Power Wagon powered by a turbocharged Caterpillar 7.2 L diesel engine.
The vehicle is named after its predecessor of 1946. Power Wagon trucks were manufactured by Chrysler from 1946 to 1968. They were used as school buses, tow trucks, emergency vehicles and farm trucks.
