Octel acquires additive business of Pluto GmbH

Effective 1 December 1998, the business activities of Chemische Betriebe Pluto GmbH and SAT Chemie GmbH have been acquired by The Associated Octel Company (UK). The business has been transferred to the newly founded Octel Deutschland GmbH in Herne, Germany, as a subsidiary company.

Octel Deutschland has taken over all the existing employees of Pluto and SAT, all agreements/contracts with their customers, and will continue to supply the same line of products.

Octel Corporation headquartered in Delaware (US) manufacturers and sells fuel additives. Pluto is a Herne, Germany based fuel additive manufacturer.
