Delphi invests $14 million in ASEC

Delphi Automotive Systems announced it is investing $14 million in its ASEC Manufacturing facility located in Port of Catoosa, OK.
The investment will be used to expand ASEC scientific capabilities, expand its offices and laboratories for new technical staff, and upgrade its manufacturing processes. Currently, ASEC holds 22% of market share in the production of automotive emission control catalysts. ASEC's Port of Catoosa operations, located near Tulsa, OK, is a major supplier of catalysts to General Motors, and supplies catalysts to Japan, China, Mexico and the US aftermarket.
Currently, ASEC employs more than 700 people worldwide. ASEC, a subsidiary of Delphi Energy, is a worldwide producer of catalysts for automotive and motorcycle applications. Headquartered in the Port of Catoosa, ASEC also has manufacturing facilities in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and Florange, France, and engineering centers in the United States, Luxembourg and Japan and sales offices in six countries.
