US MSHA schedules seminars on the new coal mine diesel rule

US Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) has scheduled five regional seminars to assist the coal mining community in understanding and achieving compliance with the Agency’s new health standards, Diesel Particulate Matter Exposure of Underground Coal Miners.
The seminars are free and open to all interested parties. Miners, miners’ representatives, mine operators and other interested groups dealing with miners’ health should plan to attend.
Seminars will be held between March 27 and April 12 at locations in Colorado, Virginia, Alabama, Indiana, and Kentucky.
