Dyne Systems acquires eddy current dynamometer manufacturers

Jackson, WI-based Dyne Systems announced the acquisition and merger of two North American eddy current dynamometer manufacturers: Midwest Dynamometer and Engineering Company of River Grove, IL, and Dynamatic Dynamometer Division of Kenosha, WI.
The new merged company, Midwest-Dynamatic Dynamometer, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dyne Systems Company, LLC, and is the largest manufacturer of eddy current dynamometers and related equipment in North America.
A new 60,000 sq.ft production facility for the merged product lines is expected to be in operation by 1 April 2002. New dynamometers, as well as remanufacturing and refurbishing of used Midwest and Dynamatic dynamometers will be performed at the new facility.
