Call for papers: ASME ICE Fall Technical Conference
21 February 2007
The 2007 Fall Technical Conference of the ASME Internal Combustion Engine Division will be held in Charleston, South Carolina, from October 14-17th 2007. In addition to a two-day technical program, the conference will include tours of Cummins MerCruiser Diesel’s (a joint venture between Cummins, Inc. and Mercury Marine) manufacturing facility for marine applications and Robert Bosch’s manufacturing facility for fuel injection systems including common rail and unit injectors.
The organizers invite papers on topics related to automotive, marine, locomotive, off-highway, and industrial internal combustion engines. Papers may address any aspect of the design, development or application of compression-ignition, spark-ignition, rotary, or reciprocating engines, light-duty and heavy-duty engines, as well as large-bore internal combustion engine systems for power generation and transportation propulsion.
Papers will be presented at the conference and published in the conference proceedings on CD-ROM. Papers may also be submitted for publication in the Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power. The conference website, www.asmeconferences.org/ICEF07/, will be activated shortly to accept 400-word paper abstracts.
