Rypos becoming American distributor for Proventia FTF

Rypos Inc., a Holliston, MA-based developer of diesel emission control systems, has been appointed by Finland’s Proventia as their exclusive North American distributor for the Proventia flow through filter (FTF).

The Proventia FTF was recently verified by the California Air Resources Board (ARB) as a Level 2 Plus device (≥ 50% PM emission reduction, ≤ 20% NO₂ increase over the baseline) for Thermo King Transport Refrigeration Units (TRU) powered by model year 1985-2002 Yanmar and Isuzu diesel engines. The product can be used by fleet operators to comply with the ARB emission regulations for TRUs.

The Proventia FTF consists of a catalyzed knitted wire mesh flow-through filter with backpressure control system, an exhaust system insulation package, and a backpressure warning indicator.
