Call for papers: ETH Conference on Combustion Generated Nanoparticles

The 17th ETH Conference on Combustion Generated Nanoparticles, to be held on June 23-26, 2013 in Zürich, Switzerland, issued a Call for Papers. Paper abstracts should be submitted by April 12, 2013 using the abstract form available on the conference website.
The conference topics include:
- Nanoparticle formation
- Nanoparticles < 23 nm
- Chemical composition
- Minimization of particle formation
- Particle filtration Global warming
- Secondary emissions
- Instrumentation for nanoparticle measurements
- Monitoring sensors (PEMS, OBD)
- Source apportionment
- Health effects
- Legislation and enforcement
Invited keynote speakers will highlight visions of new technology, impact of black carbon nanoparticles on health and environment as well as upcoming policies and legislation. The Conference will be opened by Christine Egerszegi / Member of the Swiss Council of States and president of the Committee Social Security and Health and Dr. Nikolaus Steininger / European Commission, DG Enterprise. Technical keynotes will be given by Tom Cackette / California Air Resources Board and Prof. Dr. Athanasios Konstandopoulos / CPERI-CERTH.
As in previous years, the conference will include an exhibition. Exhibitors should apply as soon as possible, as exhibiting space is limited.
